About The Sunset Font
There is a softness to the way these letterforms flow — each stroke pulling gently into the next with the kind of unhurried rhythm that suits romantic and ceremonial work. The Sunset is a script typeface released by FreshType INK, offered as a single Regular weight in OTF format. The hand-lettered quality feels deliberate, with curves that carry a classic elegance without tipping into fussiness.
Design Aesthetics & Character Characteristics
This is a script with a romantic, classical mood — the sort of face that reads as handwritten but composed, not casual. The letterforms carry an evenness of stroke contrast that keeps things legible even at display sizes, and the overall feeling leans elegant rather than ornate. As a single Regular cut, it works best where one consistent voice is needed rather than a hierarchy of weights. Latin script is supported partially, so it is worth checking your specific character requirements before committing to a layout.
Recommended Usage & Font Pairing
Wedding stationery, invitation cards, and greeting cards are the natural territory here — anywhere the writing needs warmth and occasion. It also holds up well in logo work and social media graphics where a script headline anchors the composition. For pairing, the structured geometry of Bahnschrift or the editorial authority of Canela both offer good contrast, while the classical serif texture of Times New Roman, Adobe Caslon Pro, or Etna complements the script's traditional sensibility.
License & Usage Terms
This family is distributed under a Personal Use license, which means commercial use is not permitted — confirm licensing terms with FreshType INK before using it in any client or commercial work. The font is cleared for installable embedding.
